Organised Form

Maak Bow, Veronica Herber & Duncan Rooney

Organised Form is an exhibition which examines philosophies inherent in Modernism and Wabi-Sabi, a concept in traditional Japanese aesthetics of a world view centred on the acceptance of transcience and imperfection. The aesthetic of Wabi-Sabi is sometimes described as one of beauty that is 'imperfect, impermanent and incomplete".

Expressed through work in ceramics, sculpture, drawing, print and sculptural furniture, each of the three Organised Form
artists embraces some of these conceptual concerns within their work.
